Here we are at the Mesa Temple visiters center at Christmas Dec. 2008. Beau loved all the lights the most. Brigette, Gage is still a little to young yet to understand but he liked the shiney things, Mike, Great Grandma and Great Grandpa. Other then being a little cold and trying to rain we had a wonderful time with their family. Brigette cooked a nice dinner for us before we left to see the lights and then head home. My camera's batteries where dead so I'm lucky we were able to get this shot. We want to tell you all Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.

Ann Wightmans' Family

Finely we have an up to date picture of Ann and Tony's family. Their still living in, FL. The picture was taken September 2008 on Tony's 50th birthday. Back row there is Austin and Hunter; next Beau, Brigette, Courtney our college women, baby Gage with Dallas; next we have Ann, Tucker and Tony. Michael couldn't be there because of work. Nice looking family but I'm a little prejudiced.

Our Grand Canyon Train Ride

Our trip to the Grand Canyon was a wonderful trip. Don said he had never been so spoiled. We started off by checking in at the Grand Canyon Hotel in Williams.

Next we had lunch a block away in Williams.

Drove to the air plane and car museum about 30 miles away.

They had a western show just before we got on the train to leave for the grand canyon.

It was only 65 miles by train. It took about two hours to get there.

We were there about four hours before heading home. It was so nice not driving or hearing a phone, just relaxing.

The weather was just right for us. You could walk in comfort.

We even had an old time train robbery, horses and all. It was so fun.

We learned a whole lot about the area along the way.

Brigette and the boys

Took some pictures of Brigette, Beau and Gage when they where here visiting us. We always love to have here. Just wanted to share with you. I'm also trying to get us of the blog. Brigette was kind enough to set it up for me and now if I just use it.

Beau likes his strawberries, we made the mistake of showing him them before he ate his eggs.

Don and his new great grandson Gage, spend some time together. If you could only read Gages mind and what he could tell us. One at the beginning of his life and the other at the end.

A Busy Day

Friday was a busy day. We made plans to have our granddaughter (Brigette) come and visit with her two little boys (Beau and Gage) We were able to catch up on a lot. We took the boys to the park. Beau let me push him, and refused to get off. I told him that if he went and played on the slides I would push him later. We also waited all day for our entertainment center that I have always wanted. I was hoping that it would arrive before Brigette left, however after waiting all day I finally called and they said they wouldn't be there until 5:00 p.m. I have to say it would have been a waste of day if the children hadn't come up to visit. Here is a picture of Beau and I at the park. I will post some more pictures of the boys within the next couple of days.

We've updated ourselves!

We have started a blog finally. We are now up to date with society. I am looking forward to posting. pictures, journal entries and more. Although, I am most excited to stay up to date with my family. I will post some pictures real soon.
