Our Grand Canyon Train Ride

Our trip to the Grand Canyon was a wonderful trip. Don said he had never been so spoiled. We started off by checking in at the Grand Canyon Hotel in Williams.
Next we had lunch a block away in Williams.

Drove to the air plane and car museum about 30 miles away.

They had a western show just before we got on the train to leave for the grand canyon.

It was only 65 miles by train. It took about two hours to get there.

We were there about four hours before heading home. It was so nice not driving or hearing a phone, just relaxing.

The weather was just right for us. You could walk in comfort.

We even had an old time train robbery, horses and all. It was so fun.
We learned a whole lot about the area along the way.

Hi you two. Looks like you had lots of fun doing the grand Canyon train ride and all. I have been thinking that this would be a good Senior Reunion thing to do ever since the one for Seattle went by the wayside due to health problems. Such as my broken ankle and Joe needing to go back to the hospital on his heart situation. So, now that you have done it all, what do you think? Would that be too expensive for the Senior Reunion? I think maybe even Bob would go for this one. Let me know when you read this...
